Overview

Space Dogs is a computer game about Luna, the english bulldog. She is in a spaceship trying to catch all the stars, but meteors keep coming her way and she needs to avoid them. Help her catch all the stars!

Challenge

For this project, the purpose was to create a functional web game of our choice that can be played on mobile and desktop. Not only did we have to build the game, we had to brand it and develop material for its promotion.

Process 

Prior to starting the actual game, we needed to complete the game system tutorial distributed by our teacher. Once we built the game system, we planned, developed, designed and published a game around it. 

​

We wrote a short proposal for our game concept.  We specified the idea, the theme, the gameplay, the visual style and the audience of our game. Once the concept was determined and approved, we planned our game’s features and defined its technical requirements. 

​

Our game needed to keep the names or initials of at least the three users with the highest scores. This needed to be stored in a database. Also, it had to include sound effects and advancement challenges. 

​

Finally, we prepared the material to support the game. 

​

Outcome

Overall, the project was very challenging and interesting. The game corresponds to all required elements and can be played by anyone!
